Watherston Family
It was great to catch up with guys as they have been close friends for many years. There is about 2500kms between us so it was great to spend a few days at the coast, have a few drinks and introduce them to 'killer bunnies'!! (Thanks Chong for your ruthless execution of all our bunnies) Their girls have grown up so much and i was stoked that we could all get some photos together while they were up.
Toni and Matthew
Today was very enjoyable for me as it was just Toni and Matthew in the bridal party which gives me a little more time to try some different shots as well as get to know them both a little better. I am sure that Toni must have had her cross training heels on under her dress as a couple of the shots i wanted to do did involve a bit of hike. A massive thanks to you Toni for your willingness. The reception looked fantastic as it always does at the parkhouse cafe. Such a cool vibe and really lends itself to everyone being able to socialise very well. A great atmos all day.

Naug Family
After dealing with Jane on a few commercial shots it was good to catch up in a more relaxed setting with her family at her home. Their living room is beautiful and with heaps of natural light coming through we took the chance to use their feature wall as a backdrop for the shots inside. We braved the wind and headed into the field next to the house for some outside shots. Their was something about these shots that just worked. I think the fact that the kids were familiar with the surroundings made them feel very comfortable and the shots have a great natural feel.
Shane and Chantelle Maternity
After a few years i caught up with one of Salt Studios favourite and most famous couples. Quite a few times Shane and Chantelles wedding photographs have featured on our package covers, in our gallery and on our website. The years have past and they have now (almost) completed the trifecta. Happily married, own their own home and very soon will have a new addition to the family. I can tell that they are both stoked about the baby coming along and i can't wait to meet the little guy in a few weeks when we do the newborn shots.
Sheridan and Mark
On my part a very easy day. A great looking couple, free choice with locations, great light, and plenty of time to get the shots done. On the whole, the day was quite laid back and everything seemed to happen easily. I think this was because of the planning that went into the day. I am really looking forward to doing the album for these guys as the locations that we went to had some some cool urban backdrops as well as some nice natural green tones. Should look awesome. Might be a display album for the studio :-)

Dale and Andrea
After photographing their wedding it was good to catch up with Dale and Andrea and see how life has progressed over the last year or so. It has all been happening and the new house has just been finished. In an amazing location i know that they'll be happy here for many years to come and will be interested to go past in a few years when the pool is in (fingers crossed). Congratulations on the house and you guys should be really proud.
Michelle and Jason
It was great spending the day with Michelle and Jason and especially since we had a good time frame to do all the photos and didn't have to rush at all. Very relaxed. The weather and light was perfect too. Some amazing dramatic clouds as backdrop and just a bit of wind. Perfect. A massive congratulations to both of you guys and thanks for letting me a part of your wedding.
Gareth and Sherine E-Shoot
We had a great time doing this shoot. Both these guys were sooo easy to photograph i think we probably finished in record time as all the photos that we tried worked straight away. I'm sure that there will be some great opportunites for some romantic wedding shots when the big day comes along.

Papst Family
After discovering Underwood Park a few years ago I have always been keen to do a shoot there but it has just always been a little too out of the way. Finally got my chance with the Papst's and I am stoked with the results. A big thanks to Rozzie for getting everyone organised to do the shoot. I can't have been an easy task.
Melanie and Cole
With rain all week, a ridiculously windy day was the last thing i expected. A huge thanks to the girls for braving the weather during the photos and thanks to the boys on behalf of the girls for being gentlemanly and sharing their coats. After a little bit of photoshop to make the girls skin tanned instead of blue, the photos look great. If anything the wind added to the emotion of the photos. Lots of fun and a big congratulations to Cole and Mel and not to forget their little girl Zoe. Very cute!!
