After being with the girls and seeing their outfits and Alana’s hair, makeup and dress everything tied together really well to give a classic elegant style. When everyone was together it looked fantastic. We had plenty of fun during the location shoot and at our first location we met up with Simon ( The S of Salt Studios ) and his wedding party and got a couple Michael Jackson ‘Beat It’ style photos. To contrast the urban style photos we headed to middle ridge golf club to get some natural setting shots and i am loving the autumn light. The hour between 4 and 5, everything just looks amazing.

Samantha and John
St Pats Cathedral is the place to be at the moment with i think about half my weddings over the last couple of months being held there. It is a fantastic place to shoot a ceremony though so no complaints here. John and Samantha were getting ready at the same hotel so i was to float between the two rooms and get shots of both the guys and girls getting ready. A new location to try for today and some freshly painted, funky coloured walls. We even hit up a customer at repco to use his car for a photo. And the car couldn’t have matched the girls dressed better. The downs club cellar is a pretty impressive place for anyone who is into wines, but it’s also a great location for photos. Something different and some great new shots today.

Kellie and Anthony
Over the years I have been extremely fortunate in that I have never had bad weather all day for a wedding. Streak over!! It rained pretty much solid for the entire day. Full credit to Anthony and Kellie as they just took it in their stride and got on with enjoying the wedding and not letting the rain dampen their spirits. The weather, if anything, added some great atmosphere to the day with everyone running for umbrellas and cover and just having a laugh because the weather was so, so ordinary. With the normal options out we had to think outside the box and got some cool pics as a result.

Alison and Ewan
Such an awesome couple. I don’t think that i ever been at a ceremony where there has been such a wide range of emotions. There was both tears of laughter and happiness and then plenty of those romantic eye contact moments as well J. With the heavy clouds looming there was some wonderful soft light around today so pretty much wherever i pointed the camera the light looked just about right. I love the romantic look of these pics. Enjoy.
