Zara and Jon

What a fun day!! Everyone was in high spirits when I arrived to do the preparation photos while the girls got ready, and the happiness continued all day. A bit of a tongue twister during Jon's vows is something that I don't think his groomsmen will ever let him live down, but it was just another thing that added to the fun on Zara and Jon's day. I wish you guys all the happiness in the world and I know that you will live a long and happy life together.

Sims Family

Over the past few years i've had the pleasure of doing a dew shots for these guys. The first was a maternity shoot with Sammy, Jai and little Jaylin (not born yet), and just recently a maternity shoot with Sammy's sister, Leesa. It's great to be documenting the changes that this family is going through and being able to create memories of their journey for them.

Mirtschin Family

After doing some photos a while ago they've grown from a 3 person to a 4 person family, so it was a good time to update their family pics. The two boys were great in front of the camera and seem relaxed and chilled throughout the entire shoot. I actually think we got the through the shoot in record time simply because the boys were so easy to photograph. Congrats to you Amanda and Andrew. You have two wonderful boys.

Bronwyn and Curt

Despite a few hiccups pre ceremony, we managed to keep everything running to schedule and get to all our locations in plenty of time to shoot all the photos planned. A big thanks to Bronwyn for struggling her way through the forest walk at Boyce gardens and staying relaxed the whole time. The walk was worthwhile and I'm stoked the results that we got.

Boudoir Marathon

New to Salt Studios is Boudoir Photography. Having new photographer Theresa Hall on board at Salt means we are able to able to offer you service we couldn't before. Thanks to Katie, Vic, Ally and Carly for allowing us their time to do a shoot.

These shoots will be arranged every three months and are a great idea to give as gifts for birthdays, anniversary, valentines or just because. Contact us soon to find out when the next shoots are happening.

Floyd Family

We had a great time doing the shoot. Little Breanna was calm all day with no tears at all. She was so relaxed and was happy to go with the flow and wasn't shy of the camera at all. We had to try hard to get some smiles from her but towards the end of the shoot she started giggling and we were able to get some happy shots. Being such a cutie I was happy with pre smiling shots but I was even more stoked with the images that were taken when she was grinning.

Maranda and Phil

I was really looking forward to heading up to Maidenwell for some fresh inspiration at Maranda's family farm. The ceremony was held at an amazing oasis in the middle of the property. Big granite rocks and black boy trees amongst the dense Australian scrub. With a range of locations such as olive groves, black boy trees and long dead grass we could get a wide variety of styles in the shots. I am really looking forward to doing album design for these guys.

Oldfield Family

Despite some pretty ordinary weather we headed into Brisbane city to get some family photos with the Oldfield's. With some breaks in the rain we took our opportunities and manage to get some wonderful light and a great setting at customs house. My job as a photographer was made very easy with everyone having heaps of fun and always laughing. Upon looking through the photos it is evident to see how close the family is.

Giuffrida Family

After some organised chaos at the studio to get some big family group shots we headed over to Queens park and let kids burn off some energy. While the older kids headed off, I got some photos of Brendan and Krystle with their new baby girl, Ella. They are a beautiful family and were very easy to photograph. I can't wait to catch up again and do some pics for Ella's first birthday.

Faramand Family

It was wonderful to catch up with Shideh again after photographing her wedding a few years ago. Her husband was unable to make it to the shoot due to work but i met their uber cute daughter Elia for the first time. Shideh's sister was also expecting a baby so we were able to do some maternity shots as well.
