Louise and Cameron

Set at beautiful Ruffles Lodge in the Gold Coast hinterland I was really looking forward to today. After having a bit of a look around the complex I was brimming with ideas and keen to get to our photo shoot. Everything worked perfectly. We were on time, light was great and everything seemed easy today. Lots of fun.

Jimmy and Sarah Maternity

Close friends Jimmy and Sarah are due to have their second child just after Christmas and it was perfect timing to do their maternity shots. We had heaps of fun even though pregnant women and hot weather don't mix. There was a couple of moments where Sarah was very light headed and needed to have a rest. We made sure we had some cold water on hand and Jimmy was in catching range all the time.

Shane and Kristie E-Shoot

With only a couple of months til the wedding we thought we should get their e-shoot done before the crazy Christmas season was on us and the wedding was here. They bought their dog 'Duke' with them and despite being very energetic he was very well behaved for all the photos. Can't wait for the wedding.

Melissa and Michael

Despite some navigational issues I arrived at the beach as the girls made their grand arrival and Mel looked fantastic. We had a little section of beach almost all to ourselves and there was a abundance of beautiful locations. Being a typical summer day it finished with a storm which made for some great dramatic clouds as a backdrop for some photos just before we headed into the reception.

Wuersching Family

With my good friends moving to Townsville early next year I was looking forward to getting some photos of them and their two boys. The boys hardly made a sound during the whole shoot and they are both really photogenic which made my job extra easy. Half work/half socialising. Best of luck for the future guys.

Tash and Friends

Tash did some work experience with us a few months ago and as a birthday present her folks got her a fashion style photo shoot with some friends. Right from the start all the girls did really well with very little direction needed. We had a fun day and took about 1000 photos in just a couple of hours.

Barclay Family

I have seen a bit of the Barclay's lately with some formal photos for their daughter, some birthday photos for Shelly, and as a part of her birthday present Shelly's daughter arranged to get some family portraits done. It was a great day and even a little bit sunnier than I anticipated. Probably good the family was wearing white. The whole family was very easy to work with which resulted in some great images.

Katie's Formal

With formal time here it is great to see what the trends are doing this year. Katie's dress was a beautiful, elegant gold gown and was definitely a stand out. There was all sorts of styles, colours and fabrics amongst Katie's group of friends. Even some of the guys put in some extra effort. You guys were stacks of fun and I am sure you would have had a absolute blast at the formal.

Kirkegaard Maternity

With Justin and Sheryl's second baby it was time again for some more photos. They brought their beautiful daughter along to be in some of the photos as well. Maddy was enough entertainment during the shoot to keep both Mum and Dad smiling. Distracted the photographer a few times too. Congratulations guys.

Mark and Megan E-Shoot

With not too long before the wedding we had to get the shoot organised to be able to use some photos for their invitations. Despite a few nerves at the start of the shoot, it seemed to come very naturally to Mark and Megan after only 5 or 6 frames. I love the photos in the paddock. The amazing blue sky with the dead, yellow grass in the foreground. It would almost be a great photo without you guys. Just kidding :-). I can't wait for the wedding and more photos.

Matthews Family

With Christmas sneaking up on us it is a great time to get the relatives together and update the family portrait. Despite the stinking hot weather the family let me get in a few studio shots before we headed outside and did some more relaxed shots. Not much direction needed for these guys. They were pulling out poses left, right and centre and all I had to do was be there to capture it.
