Papst Family

After discovering Underwood Park a few years ago I have always been keen to do a shoot there but it has just always been a little too out of the way. Finally got my chance with the Papst's and I am stoked with the results. A big thanks to Rozzie for getting everyone organised to do the shoot. I can't have been an easy task.

Melanie and Cole

With rain all week, a ridiculously windy day was the last thing i expected. A huge thanks to the girls for braving the weather during the photos and thanks to the boys on behalf of the girls for being gentlemanly and sharing their coats. After a little bit of photoshop to make the girls skin tanned instead of blue, the photos look great. If anything the wind added to the emotion of the photos. Lots of fun and a big congratulations to Cole and Mel and not to forget their little girl Zoe. Very cute!!

Susannah and Chris

After getting some great results from Chris and Susannah's engagement shoot I was really looking forward to seeing what I could come up with for their wedding. Locations were a bit unsure due to the dodgy weather but whatever happened both the places we had picked were going to be pretty sweet. We ended up going to UQ St Lucia Campus and there are some truly amazing backdrops there. ( apparently the 5 other bridal parties thought the same ). We just missed the weather and managed to get to the reception on time. Royal on the Park looked amazing. Never been there before but a very impressive function room. Hope you like the results.

Emma and Ross

Today was like a bit of reunion with some previous clients for me. I have photographed a couple of the bridesmaids weddings Genevieve and Claire, and also one of the Groomsman's wedding. I don't think i have ever seen the girls so chilled before the wedding. The last 45 minutes before leaving for the ceremony consisted of chilling inside in the air-con, sipping champagne. Down through the Lockyer Valley there are some spectacular locations and I was really looking forward to heading to the farm to get our location photos. After a bit of a wander through the paddocks i had plenty of ideas and thankfully the weather was kind to us and I could get all the shots i wanted. Plenty of fun and some great romantic shots too. I love that clear umbrella.

James and Leesa Maternity

Another big congratulations to James and Leesa as they welcome another addition into their family. I couldn't believe how much their little guy had grown since our last shoot a few months ago. I'm looking forward to hearing whether they get a pink one or a blue one this time. Not long to go now!!

Hailey and Scott

My final blog post in a massive blogging session. My brain hurts. I was even multi tasking ( take that girls who think guys can't do a couple of things at once ). Anyways...back to Scott and Hailey's wedding. There was so many cool little moments during this day. I especially liked them playing 'rock, paper, scissors' to see who did their vows first. Also while they were signing the register they were just chatting and groomsman was telling Hailey that Scott had picked the exact style and look of her dress. Just little things like that is cool to get an idea of how well these two know each other. Very mushy and romantic :-). We had some fun doing the photos and Hailey was an absolute trooper battling cows, mud, hills and fences all in the name of photography. Thanks to her. And also thanks to Scott to for carrying her some of the way through the mud. A final touch was to get a photo of their matching tattoos. Love those shots.

Buckely Family

It has probably been close to four years since I photographed Katrina's wedding so it was great to hear from her and get a chance to catch up while doing some family shots. A big thanks to all the family to treading through the black soil to get to the cool tree in the grass (that's a technical photography term for you). The black soil was pretty sticky after the rain but we did made it.

Todd and Jes E-Shoot

Introducing, all the way from the (sometimes) sunny Gold Coast, Todd and Jes. We were able to spend the morning together, get some cool photos and talk about cars. Very relaxing. Well, i felt a bit sorry for Jes having to listen to Todd and I talk about cars pretty much the entire shoot. They have got Porsches planned for the wedding cars which should be pretty cool. I'll have to make sure i get some photos of Jes and Todd together and not get too carried away shooting the cars. Looking forward to the wedding shoot.

Sarah and Joel

After being in a few bridal parties that I have photographed i was stoked to hear that Sarah would now have her turn to be the bride. I seem to be dodging the weather really well as none of my bridal couples have gotten too wet in the crazy weather that has been going on over the last few weeks. If anything the cloud cover suits my photography style. There was just something really 'cool' about this wedding. The guys in the grey suits, the black range rover, the location for the photo shoot. It all just worked really well together. There was one shot where the bridal party was standing next to the car and it looked like it was straight out of a Guy Ritchie movie ( Snatch, Lock Stock and Sherlock Holmes ) I love his movie making style so i was stoked to get this look. The contrast between the two locations also will look really cool when it comes to putting an album together. Also had a play around with some video. Check out the experimental video Definitely a good day!!
