Mitchell Family

Another super cute baby. My job has been very easy this week with so many good looking kids to photograph. I don't even think she made a sound throughout the whole shoot. Very photographer friendly. These are some of my favourite kids shots and might make it onto the gallery wall for our next round of new prints.

Betts Family

Good friends Kym and Ash became parents around 6 months ago and with their little girl having the biggest blue eyes the photos of her were always going to look pretty awesome. A great afternoon in the park and despite a couple of stacks on the hill, Aliyah held it together and was a star the whole time.

Masters Family

A few years after their wedding now and Cameron and Shannon now have a gorgeous baby girl. Time has definitely flown past as their wedding didn't see that long ago. I love the simplicity of the black ground really focusing attention on the people. Can't wait to catch up again to see how she changes over the next few months.

Erin and Luke

Great vibes all day. Luke and the boys were chilling out having a beer under the pergola and Erin and girls spending time in the air conditioning enjoying some champers. A great summer wedding with some awesome outfits and beautiful weather. Erin and her sisters had been in a bridal party i photographed about 12 months ago so they were great to work with again and were very natural in front of the camera. I had to be a bit careful about how the guys were standing as one of them had a bit of wardrobe malfunction splitting his pants before the ceremony even began. Good times. I'm stoked with the results and it was definitely hard to cull them down to select which ones to publish on the blog.

Ash and Tamara Anniversary

A little bit late but my wife was looking through the blog the other night trying to find photos of friends and they weren't on there. My apologies to Ash and Tamara for not publishing the photos sooner. Don't worry guys, you are definitely still on the Salt Studios favourite clients list :-).

Mayer Family

What a good looking bunch. Pretty much no instructions needed for these guys. We had plenty of laughs and managed to get the shoot done in record time. Everything went so smoothly in fact that i have my suspicions that Edgar and Tatijana may have been professional models in Germany before they made the move to Australia.

Alison and Nathan

Before the wedding Sarah, Alison's sister and also a bridesmaid read out a list of what to do in the last moments before heading to the church. After being to quite a few weddings and listening to this list, there was some spectacular advice on it. I will see if i can get a hold of it for any upcoming brides out there. Three locations today. Picnic Point, Inner City Toowoomba and the Empire Theatre. A big well done for the girls for covering so many miles in their heels. It was great to have a bride and groom so enthusiastic for photos. During Summer it can be so deceiving with the timing for wedding events. We were happily shooting away, wandering around picnic point and i looked at my phone and it had just clicked 630. We were due at the empire at 630 to do some photos there before entering the reception. Massive thanks to Margaret and the Empire Theatre team for giving us that extra time to get some photos at the theatre before entering the reception. After seeing some of the shots that we got i am especially thankful for the extra time in the Theatre.
