Back into the blogging schedule. This wedding was only 6 days ago and here is the blog post. Check it out!!  Thank goodness spring is here. Can't wait for the warm weather. A little chilly late in the afternoon today but loving the green grass and spring air. It was nice to not have to stick to closely to the schedule today. We had plenty of time to do the photos throughout the day so we took advantage and managed to head to a few different locations. I think it was a great excuse for Troy and the boys to drive the utes around.

Bringing back some memories for me today. The park where the ceremony was held was right across the road from the hotel where i spent schoolies, sooo many years ago. It is a beautiful spot though. The beach at Currumbin is a fantastic place and with the sea breeze and smell of the ocean, today was fantastic. Dave and Sarah-Jane are both car enthusiasts and have spent many hundred of hours restoring their own cars (see engagement shoot ) so pics of the cars was special for them and we also did some pics on the rocks at Currumbin to mix it up a bit. A awesome mix and should make for a sweet looking album.

Hectic, Hectic, Hectic. Life at Salt Studios has been pretty crazy over the last 3 months and blogging is one of those jobs that tends to get put to the back of the queue. Definitely feeling my age today. I can't believe that these guys were getting married. I have known Rachael for years and still think of here as only being a teenager. There wedding day was beautiful and had some very special touches. During the ceremony Rach and Gordo sang a song together while some of the bridal party was the band. Awesome and first time i've seen it happen. Congratulations to you both. You guys are a wonderful couple and I wish you many happy years ahead.

Melissa and Rodney

A beautiful winter day today and Melissa was certainly prepared. How? Some stripey thermals underneath the wedding dress. Check out the pics. Rodney and Melissa were married at Boyce Gardens which brought back memories for me as about 7 years ago i was married there. The place where their ceremony was held was actually a pool when i had my wedding so things have changed a little but it is a fantastic location as it is sunken right down and the rain forest surrounds the courtyard. Maybe a little cold for when the pool was there. There was plenty of emotion during the ceremony and everything from laughs to tears. A very enjoyable day and i love the look of the winter wedding photos. There's something about the late afternoon light that is different to any other time of the year.
